This compact, full-color, hardcover book was originally published in 1990 (the year of Franklin Paul Rogers' death) but has been re-issued in 2013 by Lucas Enterprises/Tattoo Archive, revised and expanded to include details about the people and places that Paul spoke of in the original text. An historical index of names and places is now included, together with over 150 additional images.
Rogers spent over 50 years in the tattoo business, and was influenced by the people and places he met during his life. Besides a wealth of historic photos and images, the book contains the original Franklin Paul Rogers interviews conducted by Don Lucas over the span of several years and is written in Rogers' voice, stream-of-consciousness style.
