Bloodwork
Sleeves
by Analog Tattoo Arts Kolectiv
1500 limited edition numbered copies in lenticular hardcover slipcase.
One of the thickest and heaviest tattoo books you will ever behold, Bloodwork was created by the Analog Tattoo Arts Kollectiv. ATAK was formerly incarnated as the New Skool Kolectiv (aka NSK), Adrian Lee's previous company who were also the makers of the books Suits made to Fit and Full Coverage.
This massive, lavish, stunningly-beautiful 12-pound book is a collaborative project documenting and exhibiting a comprehensive collection of sleeves by some of the world's best tattoo artists. Tattooers and collectors from around the globe have graciously contributed to this complex collective undertaking.
During photo shoots on several continents, sixty-seven sleeves were extensively documented by house photographer Max Dolberg. Next, the raw material was combined into three dynamic composite models: windwill, wingspan, and rotation. The final product offers a unique and singular view of the sleeve that had not been put forth until now.
The extensive range of work within Bloodwork: Sleeves provides a broad view of contemporary tattooers working today and is an unparalleled historical document of this generation.
